I almost got in trouble a while ago for fighting Lei Fang because my mom thought I was watching some sort of fucked up porn but I had to explain to her I was just playing Dead or Alive 5. I think Lei Fang gets off to being hurt which is why she sounds like that.

So a Swedish servant with no connections to any of the existing characters? The hell. Even the NG and VF imports have connections with at least one DOA character. I guess she won't be viable to have tag partners with unique tag intro/throws/winpose, although I can see her and Ayane doing a double drill kick.
That princess cake looks delicious. Kinda weird for a servant to eat something meant for a princess but I guess it's a Swedish recipe. I was expecting her favorite food would have been a red velvet cake since it's bloody red in color. I still think Helena's blanc manger is still the best dessert that I had tasted irl. (It tasted like a cream-based gelatin)

Wasn't there suppose to be raspberry filling on that recipe? I guess looks must be too deceiving for it not to taste well. It really just looked so pretty on that link, especially the powdered sugar forming a cute little crown shape on the marzipan.
Oh well... Kasumi (Strawberry Millefeuille), Ayane (Marron Glace), Helena (Blanc Manger), Rio (Gingerbread Cookies) and Lisa's desserts (Cherry Pie) for me then.

Ain't gonna lie, that trailer was underwhelming. Ninjas get screentime, western characters get ignored again and the new blood lands a couple of moves and then gets shunted off to the side.

In her bio is said that her identity is shrouded in the mistery and that there is something hidden in her past... I'm more than glad for a similar info, because for me it's basically confirmed that she will have a big role in the next game, and maybe just in the main plot of the game (or at least connected to DOATEC/MIST). Like I said yesterday, honestly Marie Rose could have the best background possible but what would be the point of it, if we will not be able to see her story in this game? (exactly how what is the point to say that Momiji want partecipate to the DoA5 torunament in her bios, if in the end she is not in the story mode?)
In every cases we would have left us in the mistery, so better that is the same Team Ninja to say this to us (the character will become relevant in future) leaving us to wait for real developments in the next game - like we would have done in every cases- Then it's pretty possible that she could have some special animations fighting some characters able to say us more about her personality, but I doubt about it because TN sadly cut this nice little detail from DoA5 (only Ayane and Bayman have a special pose of this kind).
About her age, Im glad that she is a 18 years old (so this will not create any problem to TN) and also if she was of course created to give the impression to be a younger girl, I'm glad that this made possibile to create finally a girl not developed, just like it's the case in the reality. In the original NG Team Ninja was able to create a 14 years old Ayane that seemed really hard a girl of this age, so it's nice to see the opposite case for a time.
About her nationality, I doubted that she was Japanese just because TN has never created Asian blonde characters (with the only exception of Rachel, where Vigoor is said to be a nation placed in Asia). I like that she is Swedish, a nationality not present in the game before, and I also think that this could be seen like a big troll from TN for the events of DoA Dimensions XD

For some randomly odd reason, if you re-watch the last episode of Rio: Rainbow Gate (Episode 13), you can see somewhere at the end, a similar pigtailed gothic lolita girl resembling Mary Rose's character model next to Rio's possessed father. Could Mary Rose possibly came from a different Tecmo series? I know that girl isn't really from Rio's series but also from another Tecmo slot machine game.
If you put it that way that there are things beyond DOATEC, the Mugen Tenshin Clan and MIST, it would literally be an interesting mindfuck plot twist. If given the chance that Momiji and Rachel were written a story, it's probably to exterminate Mary Rose but it would also dwell far from the point that Victor Donovan is the true mastermind. (in which he should have been playable as well if we were to consider Mary Rose as the ultimate villain behind MIST)
