That's exactly what I'm hoping for. Ayane in a Tengu mask with a new moveset. Phase-4 turned out awesome, why can't the Miyama's Woman Tengu? Plus, it could be an alter ego for Ayane. Like how Ein is the alter ego of Hayate.

So looks like our new character could be Tengumitsu. Not sure what to think of this really, a female Tengu with a big conk, wings & ridiculously large geta's is an awesome thought but as the other lad said, it's still not Tengu himself.

Just curious what your thoughts would be if this female Tengu mimicked the original Tengu's movelist? Would you still buy it? Was it the moves you didn't like about Tengu, or just the character himself? Not having a go at you, just curious is all. Cheers,

Ayane is so bad ass, she doesn't need wings. She already doesn't need teleports.

Pretty much this. Unless Ayane grows wings or something I don't see this being nothing more than a costume.

Female Tengu would be perfectly fine with me, because it's still a brand new character to the DOA universe. I just found Tengu utterly pointless as a boss and yes, his moveset did turn me off. Just the whole aesthetic of the boss was what I didn't like.
