Something like this has to be build/programmed into the game engine... But maybe they did, when they made Last Round... >__> Oh God, I suspect terrible things to come in the future. Even with stuff like that, the games actually sold well in the western market though.

Although I don't really consider clothe destruction fanservice as Dragon Ball Z had it and that game is a sausage fest (not that it couldn't have fanservice in that game either, but still). Soul Calibur had that too.

I guess, from a very simplistic programming point of view would be 100% hp to 75 = normal, 75-50 to few rips, 50-25 more... you get the idea!

i imagine the collab allowed TN to borrow/copy SK costume programming..

Technically, it's quite conceivable. Characters already have texture sets to accommodate water, sweat and dirt. TN would only have to add additional textures that have more transparency near torn edges. We've already seen this in various costumes like mummies & Kokoro's tropical costume. Textures would get swapped dynamically when certain criteria are met just like the water textures.

It most likely is a all girls pack, but there are also male characters from Senran Kagura who play big roles (one of them was playable in a game before). Would be cool if some of the guys had gotten the male SK characters costumes too

It would be nice but I don't think that we will see male characters: the number of 16 outfits for the Senran Kagura pack (and the last two planned for the season pass) is a clear hint for outfits fated to all the DoA female characters (however very likely all unique between them).

Male costumes just aren't happening for that pack, if the ratio of DOA females to listed costume count weren't enough
1) SK isn't played for those characters.
2) TN knows where their money comes from.
3) TN's history of representing characters in DLC as it has been suggests they won't.

I wouldn't mind if Ein got this, it's badass and allows TN to appeal to the female/gaymer Ein fans at the same time.

I think the SK and the June/May packs may follow the Police/Christmas tradition, 14 costumes for the popular females and then 2 costumes for the males

Tina will get Katsuragi's (blonde girl with the blue tie) costume.

Rachel will get Daidouji's (the tall bancho girl below).

I could see that being the case, I also see the others being

They could probably just reuse the dirt filters as alpha maps for clothing to disappear.

Anyways someone please tag me when they reveal who Mila cosplays as.

Its frustrating that I can't even really guess who'll she will get. Her dlc outfits are so random I can't even fathom which SK girl tn will try to put on her.

Originally hoped for the green haired girl because pants, but I'm guessing Christie will get the green snake girls outfit.

So I'm hoping Mila gets the bancho/bantyo girls outfit, or one of these

That last one is underboob with a skirt but at least it would go with milas hair. Plus we already know she looks good in flannel lol

I'm dreading her just getting one the skimpy outfits.


Also I imagine Rachel getting that vampirella pirate girls outfit over Daidouji.

I am mainly curious of who'll get my two SK waifus costumes, Yagyu and Shiki

I can see Rachel getting Shiki, but I wonder who would get Yagyu. I can see it either being Ayane or Phase 4.
