Would be rather odd to see him for the complete alternative in VA changes if they did provide him with an ENG VA for a NA release, it's just that Square would definitely provide a ENG voice cast for NA without the thought of saying no to ENG. I suppose they'll figure something out (If the character is on their mind or not.)

I know exactly why you guys want her (apart from Jade's attraction to dead as a doornail characters ;))...she's visually cute.

Serah isn't even a playable character of a mainline title but an unpopular sequel. I can see Caius making sense for a villain representing the XIII franchise (for a lack of any other good villain in the entire triology, which says enough about it)...but another good guy and then out of them all bland and forgettable Serah...?

If they really have to shoehorn more FFXIII characters in there, I hope and I think it is at least Caius.

Lol, Serah just already ruined her sister's and her lover's life (and all their reincarnations) and that of millions of others. XD

Hey she isn't that bad it all ends up well in the end! I just really liked her design and outfits and personality so I hope she's in the game. There's a few characters form the XIII games that would fit well.

i hope its Vincent i need my little edge lord and you can do so many thing with his transformations. one idea i had is for his beast to form to be a grappler that will grab you mid air and just fall to the ground with you. if you hit the ground the relative height you fell at would cache out to damage, but allies could knock you out of his grasp before then.

just give me something a little different, so far all these attacks are starting to blend together.

To be honest, Serah would be a pretty good addition to Dissidia (if they were to add FFXIII-2 characters), and I'm just meaning it gameplay wise, thanks to her weapon she would have a new and different moveset, none in Dissidia has a bow-sword (+magic/monsters summon), though you could say Noel has blades that turn into a spear, but it was poorly executed imo, or at least not well executed like the bow-sword.
Caius would definitely be the XIII villain cause you know... Orphan and
Bhunivelze
are not an option considering their appearence.
Edit: Fang, Snow or Sazh would not be good additions cause there's already someone who has a spear or guns, and there's already Tifa as a fist user (it they add all the characters from the past Dissidias), Hope and Vanille's weapons are not practical for this kind of game xD

So the game will come to consoles soon right? I'll be even more happy if they do get English VAs

Dream on. XD There is no date for the PS4 version yet and nearly half of the characters aren't revealed yet.

On another note:
German gaming magazine Gameswelt has played the first couple of hours of the retail version of FFXV and they are really liking it:

"Über 3 Stunden gespielt, vom Prolog bis ins 3. Kapitel: Wieso wir uns mittlerweile so richtig auf FF 15 freuen..."

Translation: Played more than 3 hours, from the prologue to chapter 3: Why we are now really excited for FF15..."

They'll tell us more at a later point in time.
I'm really thrilled for Gamescom. I hope Tabata and his crew will redeem themselves from last years desaster when everyone thought they were doing a huge media blowout but had almost nothing to show except the lame Dawn trailer. They had to reluctantly reveal the 2016 release date to calm the angered fans.
Hard to believe this lies now already a year in the past. O:

I'm looking forward to gamescom! Hopefully we see some good things, also I'm kind of not sure what they could show us at this point with it being so close to the games release? But if nearly half the characters aren't revealed yet then clearly even though they've showed us lots there is lots more to show!

Also those people are lucky to already get to play the game! I can't wait to finally get this game and that exploring the world, And in advance I'll try my hardest not to complete it within like 4 days of its release. :)

Id rather they talk about WoFF, FFVIIR or FFXII HD, the game is just under 2 months away, let the game speak for itself.

If they keep talking about it or releasing trailers they'll end up spoiling stuff, Japanese games do that too much.

They didn't really say half the characters aren't revealed yet but that half the world and cities weren't revealed yet. But if you think about it...it probably might be true for characters as well. I doubt it's just Noctis, Prompto, Gladio, Ignis and sometimes Cor that form the party. There will very likely be more. We also know of hardly any human and monster bosses yet. Just the astrals and I guess the Behemoth.
It seems likely that they will either let people play the first couple of hours on Gamescom or/and the Leviathan demo. Tabata mentioned he would like to show us the updated/redone version from over 3 years ago. It's in the FFXV announcement trailer:

Much has changed since then. Also the graphics. They have gotten way better actually. This was still fresh after the jump from PS3 to PS4. :)

And, yeah, I wondered how long (or rather short) it will take you to finish the game. XD For the sake of experiencing this together and exchanging our experience during our playthrough I really hope you won't rush through it for once in like two or three days. :(

No, over exposure talking about the game and characters trailers etc. Always spoils stuff, it happens every time. Look at MGSV one of the trailers flat out spoils the ending of the main portion of the game.

Let people discover stuff on their own, spoiling stuff just makes you less surprised ir even numb to twists or even expecting stuff to happen because of something shown in a trailer.

Look at Persona5, Atlus themselves have already spoiled all the characters, almost all the social links and already spoiled the entire intro of the game. It happens every time.

Weird, I thought we had a discussion about that a week or maybe two ago already, when you admitted that you know hardly anything about the story and characters than just what is actually the very beginning of the story.
They have kept all that for years perfectly under wraps...except that unintentional leak... >__> and showed us Duscae and the desert section ad nauseam. They won't suddenly spoiler the whole story in one week on Gamescom. That is not Tabata's style. The Leviathan fight is also one we already know of for years. So where is the harm to try it out for ourselves now? That section is also located in the first quarter of the whole game.

That was more me complaining how the story revealed is boring and uninteresting, not that they haven't given us every little detail. Spoilers are still spoilers either way, wether its the first 5 minutes or an hour into the game.

Duscae was a bit different because there wasn't a real "story" and it was already confirmed beforehand that it wasn't gonna be part of the main story at all.

Normally I can't care less for spoilers, but certain games/series I prefer to stay in the dark. Final Fantasy is one of those series, alongside Uncharted, Metal Gear, Persona and basically any story heavy game.

I'll definitely try to play through at a not so fast speed! XD
Talking about the game as we play through it will be interesting.

@Jadeinchains, why exactly are you so fast? XD Is it because you play a game that you enjoy 24/7 or are you ploughing through a game with blinders left and right not caring to explore or do some sidequesting? Or are you sidequesting but with a game guide on your lap? Or are you doing all of this combined? XD
Didn't you finish The Witcher 3 and Hearts of Stone in about 40 hours? It took me double as long for the stories and with side exploration it took me over 120 hours.
