Idk if that's cel shaded but I know it uses outlines

Burst and Bon Appetit were cel shaded. The other games are somewhere between cel shading and smooth shading, it's kind of weird.

Also, I like how my rant about how nobody knows what cel shading is was immediately responded to by complaining about cel shading in a game that's not cel shaded.

Horizon Zero Dawn a PS4 Pro Showcase:

This is so far ahead of what The Witcher 3 or FFXV or any other open world RPG that I know of graphically and artistically offer it's not even funny anymore.

I guess I can be glad there is no other game waiting for me. On the other hand it's also kinda unfortunate that my absolute most wanted game 2017 already comes out at the beginning of the year. What am I going to look forward to the other 9 months? :/ Well, there is Rime...but that's a comparatively small ,independent game production.

So the first batch of pictures that I am going to share of the most beautiful open world game ever are not going to be lush and vibrant sceneries or quaint, bustling towns but these:

I've really come to like Aloy in the about 4 hours that I played. She's a great protagonist. I also like that she isn't a traditional beauty and doesn't act feminine at all or isn't treated as a fragile woman. You kinda forget what gender she is. Who cares? That's imo great!

Had a little photo session with a NPC in Horizon. The polygon model and texture quality is insane for an open world game with dozens of characters on screen and a huge open world surrounding them:

Also, notice the impressive rock texture in the background. O:

The characters have actual thin hair, not thick wires like in almost all other games.

Not just the face, but the complete body has crisp skin textures, where you can see every pore.

Super crisp leather and silk textures here. Also, note the high polygon hand and fingers.
A random Horizon NPC has more polygons and better textures on his pinky than a whole Tekken 7 character. XD @KasumiLover69
