So since the patch notes have been out, and we know what we'll be getting for Brad, do you guys feel it'll help out Brad a bit more, since he can transition faster / has a better CB now? :eek: Thoughts

He gained a little more evasiveness but that doesn't really mean much since his butt gets mangled at close range. The way I see it with the side step changes he might have more of a chance. It's a buff across the board but it should work out well for him since he has no other way of dealing with any character with good fast mids and strings.

The "vertical kick" change sounds like frame trap heaven. 6k+f should be a lot more useful now. I'm hoping this also include DHO k+f. It will be handy one to bait out wake up kicks.

Kinda sad they didn't change the input for Brad Wong's handstand stance. 6p+k is such a good move but it's really limited in it's use.

like tones said, moves like :6::H+K: / lft :h::5::K: / :6::K::K: and :1::P::K: should grant you a free :8::P: or oki now and dho :H+K: on critical hit, although you can get a combo out of this instead for more damage.

brad's :6::K: currently gives 18 frames of advantage when used on a downed opponent, with the increased 2 frame recovery this will be even better, also it gives us a higher chance to land a critical burst when using it on a stunned opponent and a free :9::K: even on fastest stagger escape.

his back turned throw setup is now guaranteed, providing 'changed all back-turned stuns that do not down the player to end with the player facing front' doesn't interfere with this, although it shouldn't.

he has a new critical burst from stance, hopefully this isn't just a copy / paste of his current critical burst and looks a little different, but hey, a new move is a new move.

handstand :h: / :4::4: and :6::6: now avoid lows, although it would be nice if dho :2::2: had this too, also you can enter this stance before the beginning of each round now.

faster transitions and less frame disadvantage is always nice.

now his kicks in handstand, have they been changed to natural combos or do they simply divert you when you try to hold? i know that :H+K: and the last kick of :K::6::K:, :K::K::6::K: and :K::K::K::K: already get diverted, so i'm not sure.

and finally his wall jump has been fixed, okay, but what about when you get stuck in handstand and can't do anything?

next patch: :9::P+K: handstand and fix please!

That back turn stun change is a trade of since slow escaping from the back was faster but now they can counter

Im loving the changes but yeah, the instance where you cant do anything in HS is really annoying that does need to be fixed. If ONLY, Brads speed was increased just a little bit so he can hold a candle to everyone else haha. I agree hope that new CB is a new move unless its 66P from DKO -_-

He needs a get the hell off me move from normal stance like his BT k+f. A defensive strike. A fast jab would be nice since you could pp6k to push them back and to enter BT or LHT, pp4k to fall back yourself into LFT or just p/pp.

Seppu the k8 is not now. I'm okay with that though because it's nothing new.

As it is. If they hold/press 8/2 after the BT throw the BT 2p+k will hit them not in backturn.

So from playing him out. His HS got a lot more powerful since its a 2in1 now. His DHO stance transition is amazing now as well
8K4 is mad fast. It seems some of his moves have more stun as well now contributing greatly. Overall I like the change they gave him.

bad news: moves like :6::H+K: don't count as vertical kicks, so nothing is guaranteed after that.

good news: the follow up after :2::P+K: in his back turned throw setup IS guaranteed *stares at tones*

I hope you all could forgive my badness. I was tryin' to concentrate on getting anything I could to showcase for everyone. Also my converter gives my controller laggy inputs so my inputs aren't accurate at all. On top of that, I'm just not that great. But if there is anything that you'd like me to test out for you and put into a replay video, I could do that. Just contact me in a PM or that IM chat thing.

Seriously man, your Brad has got to be the most entertaining to watch. Never thought about using BT 2P+K as a spacing took.

Yeah I was wondering about that 44/66 implementation as well...didnt notice it. I guess itll be in the February update?
