Ahh Ok. I had to recreate that moment in training mode just to be sure. And yep it is a perfectly natural moment. I always thought that after the follow up of WR34K for WR34KK was a crouching state. Thanks for the info Hajin.
This shit too funny, he fucked yo ass up bruh
This is a perfectly natural moment in the game. You were thrown out of your attack animation by an offensive hold (like it's supposed to do).

Here is what happened;

You proceeded with WR 34K as he does 8T from Ninpo stance, a strike that leaves Hayabusa in a jumping state until he touches the ground again, in which he enters a crouching state. In such a state, the offensive hold from Ninpo stance only throws a standing or teched standing opponent.

Now if you proceed to follow up after WR 34K for WR34KK/KP, then you are entering a standing position due to following up. That is where the offensive hold will connect, and that is why you were thrown by it. Because you proceeded to hit a button, had you just done WR 34K without a follow up, you'd have stayed in a crouching state and avoided the offensive hold.

Also the 8T from Ninpo stance closes in on the opponent regardless of Hayabusa being in front or behind his opponent, even with his back to the opponent.
