It was incredibly hard to cram everything I wanted into the the 3-minute length of the song, so I dropped that idea. I can create a short version if I find it necessary.
Favorite parts:

1:52 Proposition transition
3:25 & 6:08 Jann Lee and Leifang have some of the best interactions. They have good chemistry. She's got some attitude on her. I like it.
7:47 Rachel & Tamaki
10:51 "Team Ninja" vs Raidou
11:51 Climax ending/outro
Hayate being the main character amazes me. And it's awesome! I love that in this game male characters got a lot of attention.
I hope you can tell; this was done in the vein of DOA2 & Hardcore. But I tried not to copy the sequences verbatim in order to express my own creativity apart from Tomonobu Itagaki. I'm not making this public until it's perfect and conveys similar emotion and awe as the intro from DOA2.
Out of all the beloved songs in DOA, I went with Exciter because it fit the theme I was going for. Nine Lives was too fast-paced. I didn't want most of the runtime to be gameplay footage like DOA3. Dream On from Ultimate was all CG animation. I wanted some gameplay as well. "Amazing" (DOA4) was too sad and also entirely animated, etc.
Team Ninja could have just inserted one of their many trailers of the game into the game, and that would have been acceptable as a cinematic intro. But of course they didn't because DOA has been missing some of its soul since 5.
I planned to do all Japanese voices because it'd sound more authentic, but I think mixing them together worked out really well. The English voice acting and casting is just so good.
Playing with characters I don't know to get to the next cutscene was the least fun part of this. lol
I'd put an intro like this in my version of DOA6 if a mod like that with extra content can exist.

Most Significant Changes
1. The Break Hold can no longer affect low strikes.
2. The Sidestep Attack now does 10 damage.
3. All knock back moves now cause the wall critical like DOA4 and DOA3 instead of the DOA5 wall bounce.
4. Everyone’s weight class is now Heavy.
Technical throws were weakened and other stuff.
