@Awesmic Actually, there are full match gameplay videos uploaded. It's actually a cross between Ultimate Ninja Storm games, and classic Street Fighter. There are two modes of battle: Long-range, and close-quarters. Matches always begin in long-range mode. During this time, you can move in all directions, and are basically just slinging projectiles back and forth. When you land a solid hit, you switch to close-quarters mode, which is more akin to Street Fighter. You can only move forward and back, and can jump. When you land a "finishing blow" attack, you knock the enemy out of close-quarters and switch back to long-range mode. From there, the cycle repeats itself.
I was surprised myself that this gameplay resembles the Naruto storm series. However, I think it's more fumy than disappointing. Reason is cuz I like Pokemon and I like Naruto.
How misleading of Bamco. They give us the impression it's gonna be a Tekken-style Pokemon game by its name, yet the end result appears to be Pokuto Ultimate Ninja Storm.
