DOA5LR: Phase4 66K P+K breakdown

If you're allowing Phase 4 to run at you from full screen with 66K, that's already your own problem for not properly keeping her out.
So what happens when she runs at you full screen when open and close stance is constantly being switched from, then choosing at which point she launches herself off the ground? You have to make the rawest read ever to Free Step her options. If your character has a 9i jab just mash punch when you see her poof into smoke. If your jab is slower... block and punish the throw is whatever =)
You can actually free step the kick follow up no matter what stance you happen to be in. But the punch follow up is more specific. So it's good to be aware of which stance you're in nonetheless.

To be more specific of how to free step 66K P+K options, in open stance you must free step "upwards" to avoid the punch and kick follow ups to 66K P+K. In Closed Stance, you must free step "downwards" to avoid the punch and kick follow ups to 66K P+K.

In other words, if the Player 1 and Player 2 are in Closed Stance as per R1F (Round 1 Fight), you must free step as mentioned above. If player 1 and player are in Closed Stance with Player 1 and Player 2's right leg are facing forward, then your free step evasion is the opposite of what's mentioned above.
So in short, her 66k is still useless on block even though you can use P+K to teleport off it
Good video, still shocking players do not do this. As Ayane, I can always get 100+ on Phase for simply fuzzy guarding her teleport throw attempts.
Edit : with the last patch 66K P+K T can't be Free step dodged. But the last combo is still viable.
