DOA6 Side Step Attack (Rant)

painful to watch, you don't know jack shit

in kekken and SC side stepping means physically avoiding the enemy hitbox
in VF and DOA side stepping is a state that makes you invincible to a certain category of attacks
SC style side steps are more comparable to DOA's FREE stepping, except only a couple of jumping moves can be effectively free stepped in DOA
you failed to understand WHY side steps in DOA6 are much stronger than DOA5. That's because the invincibility was changed to last until the first active frame, unlike DOA5 where the invincibility stops at the first startup frame
also, DOA6 side step attacks are an improvement over DOA5, they act as a "get off me" tool which resets the game back to neutral instead of starting the stun game. Fuck the stun game and fuck you
