shouldn't be judging PL potential from this vid that obviously has scrubs playing. I mean the leon player pulls a CB int PL off and what does he do....236P...really? He could've done 6PPK, air grab, aim it at the wall to his left and threw him into it and won the round
Power Launchers still make sense. Just for example, with a character such as Zack, he has combos after his CB that already do more than his PB. If you factor in even more hits from the PL, that' even MORE damage than he would have gotten from a PB. It's to reward players for potentially missing combos to go for more damage instead of just taking a free, easy 80 damage.
Not so sure a PB would anymore, considering everything seems toned down, damage wise. Game seems a lot slower, which imo is bad. But oh well, I'll wait till SJ to see what others who know the game have to say.
@2.38 After Critical Burst Powerblow would finish JL in that round. Get the feeling the Power Launcher makes absolute no sense so far!
