It's one thing to nerf the properties of a move but to completely abolish the viability of the move is dumb. The identity of how you use the move has been changed in this game. Before it was a great poke and spacing/keep out tool that stunned. It made Hayate cheap now it makes Hayate vulnerable.
If I free cancel I get stunned from back turned guaranteed and if I try to do the ((30 ))frame reactable GB I will get either interrupted and stunned on reaction or counter held. To add insult to injury 4p doesn't even crush as consistent as it did in 5.
His 4p got nerfed to oblivion and doesn't stun on normal anymore which is really bad because it was one of his best poking options and most viable stun other than 66p. His 4p is -12 on normal and even if I hit then they can still block the low and fuzzy the high and punish me.
Because he feels very underwhelming and his kit has alot of breaks. His 66p sucks on block because characters with 12 and 11 frame mids can beat out every option even if he finishes the normal 66p which is broken. Also you can neutral grab him out of both punch enders even if he completes them.
