Calibur overall has the best story for me. I think DOA has a decent enough FG story, but the Itagaki era did it better than modern Team Ninja by a mile. Less is more, here.
Not sure about the red cracks thing. Personal theory is locational damage. ie you hit a certain area continually until it causes a special stagger, which the red cracks signify.
If only 20% of the install base of the switch was interested in the switch 2, it would still sell out. It doesn't take much to outpace the production line on launch. The real test comes down the road but since its a straight upgrade they should be pretty safe.
Duskbloods will be dead on arrival even if the game design does everything right.
1. Fromsoft netcode is always archaic ass.
2. Switch wifi is more than 99% of users. Literally, that's the statistic.
This game can't function with these two things together.
