Well, I started playing DoA about two months ago (and it's my first fighting game), in December, for the first time. I really want to learn how to play this game to the fullest, so I decided to join FreeStepDodge.
For the most part, I definitely a lot by watching a lot of competitive DoA5 videos with matches from Vanessa, Master, Black Mamba, Mochi A, practically any competitive DoA match I can get my hands o, and study what the players do and how they adapt to certain situations. I try incorporating what I see into my playstyle, and see how I can adjust that as well.
I'm mostly the combo-type aggressive player, making a lot of use out of the stun system and mostly using Critical Burst setups, though if there's a way I can get an early launcher, I would always go for that since it's guaranteed damage. My weakness would probably be adaptation and dealing with offensive holds, since that always gets me every time I try to get aggressive on someone. I also have the tendency to spam the mid-punch hold since I panic under pressure, though I'm learning how to make better reads. I also don't block, but I'm pretty good at spacing so it's not too big of an issue.
Onto my other likes not DoA-related, I enjoy graphic design and Kalafina. I have a portfolio up, though it's pretty average, I would say.

Anyway, I hope I enjoy my time here in FSD to get to know the community and have fun. Thanks for reading,
