That's called a gap.

Try VF as well. Where if you do SE early enough it will speed up the stun, but if you do it late it will slow down the stun.

This silly thing is you always run the risk of getting counter hit as the stun wears off... resetting the damage scalling and possibly bouncing you off the wall or floor if its one of those special ender thingy's.
