There's a player level or difficulty you have to beat I think to get it, in trying to get it by doing the master difficulty xD

Ahhh I see. So it seems like Player Level is what has difficulties for single player modes unlocked and probably menu/stage music, and each individual character level unlocks their various themes from the generations of games. Correct?
