Still not an excuse. What kind of fighting game with online functions doesn't have lobbies at launch?

The last few major fighting game releases dropped with no functioning lobby. Lobbies are hard to code apparently.

@P2p1mbs Its not a matter of prioritization. Developers are split into sections. The people that do the art stuff are not generally doing development on game design. They probably worked on the lobbies UI, but the technical side is on other members of the team. The members that do the art stuff are not going to stop doing their thing because another aspect of the game is having issues. That would just be silly.

Niche franchise needs to justify itself, financially, as a priority. You might not have noticed, but gaming in general is in need of making bank. Even EA and Activision are cutting jobs.
