lol yeah exactly! unlike grapplers in pretty much every other fighting game, in DOA bayman, bass, tina, etc. have ways of destroying the competition to make up for lack of speed and/or striking skills. takes a bit more work, but it CAN be done!
i am also looking forward to it!! and i have really stepped up my bayman due to you. i LOVE his jail lock OH near the wall...+15 is amazing!! i also dig the frame advantage off his 236K, and his nasty 214T offensive hold. oh and his ground throw! i want to get REALLY good as him...i'm working o it!
oh yeah...f#ck dojo!!
Wow. You've been inspired by me? You're the first person I've heard that from. That's pretty cool to hear, though I'll have to pull the modesty card and say that I'm really not that great. But hey, MajesticBlue and the others that I regurlarly play say I'm good, so what do I know, lol? Perhaps I am just too modest.
Yes, Bayman's ground throws are very nice. When my foe is lying head forward though, I actually find it better to dash forward slightly then do 1K, P+K. P+K will force tech and I'll hit them with 236K as they rise. If they catch on to that and start to hold the 236K, I'll substitute it for 41236T and get them for Hi Counter Throw damage as they try to hold the kick.
Using 46T or 214T instead of 236K are also nice options. And though I haven't tried it, I'd imagine that 8PP would also be a decent followup to the force tech. Then juggle with P6PK to knock them away and avoid their wake-up kick. Though I personally like to be in my foe's face during their wake-up, so I can punish it with an expert hold.
yes, you are quite inspiring modest too, but you KNOW you are that good, even if you have trouble admitting it. i never thought to try those tricks!! i am gonna go into practice and try them out. even MORE options!
