Probably just wanting to be a pro, then the fun then the fame. Unless you're someone like SonicFox, chances are you won't be making too much money. Zero's right in this regards, winning the "big" prize money isn't enough in order to make a living out of it unless you're a well established player in the fgc overall or you are able to place in top 8 constantly, preferably in multiple games.
