Lol that's their excuse, they just don't wanna portray that Li is pretty much Bisexual. They CLEARLY didn't want to bother with Li falling in love with the MALE Mulan so they just deleted him and took the MeToo movement as an excuse to diminish the backlash bc OMG FEMINISM
