A big chunk of the finale is spent killing an in-game personification of the original's fans who wanted a straight Remake.
Then don't. It's too late for you to refund it. You may as well get what you can from the game. Hell, you might even like what they've done. But it's not what they said they were going to, tho. Not what they sold the game on. In any other point of sale industry, it'd be called "bait and switch."
