Maybe have more unlockable ninpos? Iirc the max was like 3 or 4 in almost each and every single game for Ryu and they certainly didn't feel too unique or crazy. Outside of that, idk, I think that the Nioh team would make a fine NG if they focus on the elements that truly made NG great, super fast-paced but at the same time relatively stylish gameplay with a hint or two of platforming.
