it looks ok. I'm more interested in how comfortable and/or good it feels gripping the controller and how good the d-pad is, can it survive like a year of me playing both 2D and 3D games with it every single day?

Had both the Fighting Commander and the Fighting Commander 4; the 4 is very good but the dpad goes out fast; I didn't like the regular FC, was uncomfortable to hold and the dpad sucks.
