To be fair, you're going to miss out on a lot of optimal stuff just by doing autocombos in both BBTag and DBZF. DBZF autocombos are or were kind of bullshit though since you can still get your autocombo out despite your attacks not landing on your opponent at all, which means that this is/was a pretty solid and at the same time an annoying tool in order to catch out backdashes. While yes, autocombos

in BBTag did get buffed too by adding a tag-in attack for the A attacks and which also makes you regenerate the tag gauge faster afterwards you're still going to miss out on the optimal/max damage stuff and if you whiff, then you whiff, can't mash out the autocombo ala DBZF, a solution to autocombs in Tag would be to lock out the player from cross bursting if they're whiff punished but eh, that'd be too harsh.
