@Seigen There's a store in Manhattan on 44th street, a friend of mine from way back in the day works there. There were two 3090s just sitting there so I asked how much, told me the price (which is still yikes by the way).

Originally I wanted to get the 3070s or 3080s, but they were sold out and practically impossible to get, so I said alright fuck it.

Personally, I think any GPU over $1000 is still yikes and isn't worth the value, but that's just me. Granted, I was even hesitant to get it because I have no problems with the 1080ti, but since it was there, I said screw it.
