So for me it definitely left a superb first impression, though this is how most games get you the first time so definitely waiting it out. It's similar to gacha games where the gameplay and visuals is enticing at first but then the game is objectively worse due to the marketing and predatory business.
Course Tekken is not a Gacha by any means, but you know what I mean. 100% will be watching Tekken 8 tournaments.
I mentioned it quite many times and the trailer was an example, but T8 does have potential to be the best looking 3D fighter on the market due to what they just showcased, but Namco hasn't been the best record on that on a finalized version besides being the highest 3D selling fighter. When it comes to visuals and aesthetics, I think people should wait still. I am definitely hype to watch tournaments for it though.
I m sensing v-shift/counter hold mechanic and Heihachi getting the Netherelm Studios treatment of reviving characters either through a day one paywall or dlc. Who knows? Maybe training mode and the mathbox will be dlc too.
