Here's why Alpha sucks:
Every character in the game, when on the defensive, has the exact same options. Wakeup kicks and holds. Alpha doesn't have either. She. Is. Bad.

you forgot predictable.

But she has options that other characters don't on the offensive end. She has one wake up kick although it depends on how she's facing. And even if u can't do the wake up then you can parry. Playing against alpha on wake up is a stupid guessing game. Also she's not predictable when u can delay her strings and beat out like everything with it.

And havik she can get to the cb threshold easily since she's fast and has retarded strings, plus her 3 cbs make her unpredictable.

How often do you get to be on the offensive, though? Not very, in a game like DOA.

No havik. Ones a mid kick ones a mid punch the other is high. And nightpup alpha is very fast and can control the match easily. Even if u knock her down I still have to guess whether ur gonna parry or try to poke me out of a throw. And alpha has decent psuedo fts to where I can't just lay on the ground to stop you or ill get forced up. We can agree to disagree but she's just a headache.

so if alpha is fast...then christie, pai, and kasumi must be in the same boat, right? And oh okay, but still no one has bother to prove this and are just screaming broken. Alpha isn't broken she is really bad.

People who think Alpha sucks are people that don't go to offline tournaments or don't place very high with other top players in a consistent basis.

Get them sponsers ready...alpha is good but you gotta work for what you get...better the fundamentals the better she is...

I MAIN Alpha-152 harder than probably any other DOA player and I completely agree she sucks in 1.03A.
