Yeah, but you have to be aware that its backwards compatible on most OG Xbox titles, not all. I have Crash Tag Team Racing and it is NOT BC on 360.

Modding it would allow for you to use OG Xbox games that weren't whitelisted by Microsoft. Or you could just get an OG Xbox.
