Like DOA, people have scoffed at smash for the longest. But unlike DOA (sadly) they have always had a LARGE competitive community. This is what happened when the general FGC gave them an inch. Smash gained 1000+ respect points because of what's happened this year. Chances are we'll be seeing it at EVO again.
