....Not really man. 4K blows chunks now and moves that should cause sit down stuns (like in 4) don't anymore. Aside from that Ein's pretty much fine as far as transitioning from 4 to 5. In fact he's better in a lot of areas.
He honestly lost more from his 2 and 3 incarnations.
@Zeo, yea I suppose some things did work out. First of the WR K relaunch is pretty fabulous, as well as 3KK's relaunch. They didn't mess with 1KK which was very relaxing to find out about. Even still he does still feel lacking. I never even knew that 4P2K still doesn't have 4P2KK along side 4P2K6P~.
But that's something that didn't work... the 8P bound I can deal with since it give him a solid mid punch launcher that's better than 8p or risking 3P. If 4K wasn't nearly safe though, I'd actually complain about it... I really wish it was 13i again though with maybe decreased damage for the actual kick.
Like I said the 4K nerf is the worst offender. I 8P was nice considering he never really had a true mid punch launcher to begin with, but CBs kinda make it so you don't need them that much anyways.
The additional 4P strings don't really count as a nerf, it's just not a step forward though I expected him not to get them anyways.
Honestly for me though, he's mostly fine as is. Give his OH a little more juice, add a few more frames of advantage to his GBs and 236K on block and I'm satisfied even without 8P,8K and 3K having CH sit down stuns.
13 frame long range whiff punishing mid kick that gave you a free knockdown and guaranteed force tech on NH and launched for a free moderate damage juggle on CH. So yeah it was pretty amazing.
