I dislike it because it derives too much from the originals, and IMO they really messed up the controls it really doesn't play well I'd take SH3 anyday over Homecoming/Downpour

I can agree with you on Downpour. I'm a huge wuss with horror games and even I can play that.
Homecoming had so many subtleties and scary moments that it really left an impression on me. The dodging was nice. It took a little bit of the suspense out of fighting, but the controls were still so bad that you really wanted to run away from anything you could.

the controls is mainly why I dislike it, parts where you are forced to fight are horrible
