Ugly? A Japanese casual outfit for Hayate seem me pretty cool!

I guess it might be because of how traditional Hayate is in terms of outfits. Like if it's not ninja-themed, it has to look Japanese (even his Fighter pack looks ninja-themed).

For me, I just find it bland that it has to be blue when it could have been in a better color.

Well in DoA Dimensions he had a Tuxedo outfit and I don't say that it wasn't nice... but honestly I prefer much more a similar Japanese traditional one for him.

I think that Team Ninja don't give him Western casual outfits, very simple because it's exactly it to distinguish Hayate's look from Ein's one (of course, in this case I expect that they will give similar outfits to Ein).

About the color I really like the blue used more than a classic gray brown for this kind of outfits, but again it's just my personal taste.

I think green could have been nice color to see him in. Blue has always been the colors used in most of his costumes.

Same thing can be said about some of Ryu's costumes despite not even having an identical character.

The tux would have been a great addition or even just jeans and a t-shirt really

Like I said, I don't think that we will see ever a Western casual Hayate, because in the end this is exactly the look of Ein.

That shouldnt be a reason lol they have two different fighting styles and different win poses that is enough to differ the two in this game
