Naw get greedy Hayate isn't exactly popular so now is the best chance to ask for him before major development, and while others are as well. It's about time Ryu's best friend joined him on his adventures I would say.

Considering that TN included Kasumi in NG3RE, Rachel and Momiji in DoA5U, given to Hayate an outfit perfect for NG, and now we discovered an apparent concept art for NG3 showing Hayate and Ryu fighting together... well, I think that it's very likely that Hayate could be playable in the next NG!
