@Omega: Well actually it's not sure if the concept is related to a new NG game or to NG3:RE but one thing is certain: TN considered the idea to make appear/playable Hayate in the NG series.

Hmm the fact that Ryu is cursed with GoM is very unsettling. unless they plan on bringing out Hayate as NG3 DLC lol

You are right, this is the confirm that this was a discarded idea for NG3. But considering everything happened in NG3RE and DoA5U, all seem to indicate that Hayate has chances to be playable in the next NG
