re5 has versus, and that causes the hate from the players who dont play tybe b, and are recorded, or "Fire spammed."

re4 is the better game, but re5 is a fun co-op game.

I love RE5, but I hate RE4. I would have liked RE4 more if they would have at least gave the 360 version re5 controls. The controls for re4 are retarded. They were only good on gc and the wii. I also hate Leon and most of all I hate the RE community.

RE5 IS a very good game it is however not a good survival horror game, neither is RE4, but what it does better in those regards is that it at least has that atmosphere to instill panic. dark, swarms of enemies, and just you by yourself it loses this in later levels as the enemies change and you get better gear but it already has people in that mood.

RE5 on the other hand cant even pretend to be horror game. once you accept it as an action game you can enjoy it. the RE6 happened and im not even going to defend that. i play both types of RE and i couldn't stand that

RE6 was trying to do to much CAPCOM tries to please people thats sort of where they went wrong with RE5 they saw that RE4 did well so they tried to do something similar and when OLD RE fans started to complain that there was no survival horror CAPCOM tried to please EVERYONE by doing the split campaign which in the end was to much content and very confusing and scattered.

Really just keep to the action games. It's 2014 and no one cares about zombie games unless you go be playing L4D, Dead Island, Dead Rising, or Walking Dead. Whenever RE tries to go back to doing horror again we're reminded why they try not to anymore. One, it's hard to pull off now(especially for a RE game) so they end up doing old shit, or shit that didn't take any thought at all.

Two, they are trying to please the general gaming population(which isn't a bad idea), but RE fans make this hard because they always have the stupid ideas of what they think RE should be, and any potential idea Capcom DO come up with the RE fans whine about how bad it is(when it usually isn't). I think a lot of the problems are the community. Thus is why I hate it.

Tbh if they made RE:Revelations RE6 i feel like the game would have done a lot better RE:Revelations was actually pretty good and i agree wih you shadow RE fans need to let CAPCOM do their job and stop asking for things because tbh RE fans basically asked for what RE6 gave.

At least RE is a fun action game to me. Play with a friend and I have a blast. Can't say the same of Silent Hill.

RE4 still had some sense of survival horror to it, while RE5 was al ACTION ACTION ACTION! basically RE5 isn't an RE gameand neither is RE6. Also Shadow you CAN use RE5-ish control system in RE4 if you switch to type B you use LT to aim RT to shoot and LT+RB for the knife the only problem is you still have tp use LS as aiming.

And I loved Revelations, it's a perfect example of how a modern RE should be except the ending that was really anti-climactic.

They need to swap characters over more as well, I'm sick to death of constantly playing Chris, Jill, Leon and Ada and then a few random people who only make 1 or 2 game appearances. Bring me Rebecca and Claire back and MotherEFFing Barry!

I really want to see Claire make a comeback or maybe have Jill and Chris as partners again that would seem pretty cool to me I don't really care for Leon so much Rebecca is alright and Barry is cool but my all time favourite has to be Claire.
