I mean we have been begging them for him, they might as well put him in. Like seriously we asked for Tengu more than we asked for the DLCs. Like how the Helena asked for her Greek goddess dress and got it. I am really hoping it's him.
Me too, but I find it unlikely. Why would they release the arcade port and develop Tengu (or any character) alongside it, but not include them in it? It's retarded to add another character to the game, but deny the arcade scene access to said character.
I would definitely go to tourneys if any existed here, but Florida is a dead zone for DOA. Everyone here plays Capcom fighters with Tekken and Smash on the side and I don't have the money to travel to out of state tournaments.
I'd love to be known as a tourney Tengu player, but it won't happen, sadly.
Honestly, I'd go to tourneys even without Tengu. I pre-registered for DOA5U at CEO back in Novemeber, but not enough people did, so the game didn't make it into the tournament. I was gonna go with Leon and Bayman.
No. DOA4 was widely despised by DOA players and non-DOA players alike. I didn't really get into it until 2010-2012 and didn't really pick up Tengu until sometime in 2011. The game was long dead by that point. Even if DOA4 were as "big" as DOA5 is, it'd still be Florida we're talking about, so I doubt anyone here would've been playing it anyway.
If you check my media submissions here, you can see me playing DOA4 with Tengu, but I was facing Subway, the Tengu master. Literally the guy who defined how DOA4 Tengu is played. As a result, I'm just getting my ass kicked constantly, but it's the only recorded footage of me playing Tengu.
An online friend of mine who I play DOA5 with a lot wants us to start playing DOA4 too, so I'll likely record some of those matches too and the only character I play in that game is Tengu, really. So there may be more Tengu footage coming.
It's legit, but whether or not it's Tengu is another matter.
