Oh I see. Yeah, let the bread getting spoiled would be a shame. I can't claim about myself ever having bought a real 'french baguette', is there something special about them?
Maybe you could amble to the nearest lake around and feed some ducks if you're not able to eat it in time^^
Hm? What do you mean? Is there even a fake french baguette? I couldn't say there's anything special but for me, I think it's the most ideal bread to use for making sandwiches. I just love the crust when it's toasted.
I doubt I can find a lake to where I am located. It's just buildings and infrastructures here.
Ok, I did some investigation because I was interested if there are a kind of 'fake baguette'^^
In germany for example they use a different pastry and different ways of preparation, so I guess the baguettes are tasting also different like the ones who are made with original french recipes.
One of my dad's friends is a cattle rancher/herder and my dad spends two weeks every summer helping him out. His thank you gift this time was 250 pounds of beef. Guess what I eat a lot of?
I never really liked beef all that much. I like to eat mostly vegetarian with one serving of chicken or fish at dinner. My stomach doesn't handle red meat very well.
@ ToKyo PewPew: It was definitely a nice change of pace and I even had cake. I should probably do that when I eat pasta dishes again.
@ToiletMangoes: I don't like beef that much too. The only meat I'm tolerable to are chicken and fish (usually salmon and tuna). I'm picky with veggies but I love spinach the most.
I somehow got it from biking. I ignored it for a while and thought it was simply a scratch but nothing to worry about. The wound is healing and my foot isn't swelling anymore.
