I hope DOA6 gets rid of that Jesus awful thing they considered a story mode and bring back the individual stories in arcade mode and the character endings.

They aren't guest characters, so chances are they will.

They may not be guest characters but they never been in the DoA story. For whatever reason developers feel the need to get rid of characters for story purposes even though more overall seem to care more about the characters they like rather than the story making sense

^ I find it hard to believe that it would be impossible to incorporate said characters into the story. They managed to do it with Mila, and she's new altogether. They could easily find a story mode for Momiji, Rachel on the other hand... unless a fiend finds it's way into the game- her presence in the tournament wouldn't entirely make sense.

No it wouldnt all I'm saying is TN may not keep them look at Namco. Tekken 2 Kazuya dies, Jun dies probably forgetting others and that pissed people off so much Kazuya came back as a clone in Tekken 4.

Hwang died early on in SC and people still bring him up. These characters had die hard fans and they got rid of them for story purposes. TN already got rid of Tengu, Ein, and Leon the community had to fight to get 2 of those characters back.

The only DOA character that hasn't been in every game is Tengu... =\ Ein didn't make sense in DOA4, he was still there. They attempted to do the legitimate thing and remove him- BAM he's back in ultimate due to people complaining. TN clearly aren't Namco. Tengu ( whether people choose to believe it or not. ) doesn't have a big fanbase. So at this point in time, he isn't in the game.

Never said Bamco was TN. Clearly Namco has done a lot more removing than any other developer that comes to mind. I know all those things already. All I'm saying is others have done it thats it. Nothing more. You can calm down now I'm not taking shots at DoA or TN.

Eh? I'm perfectly calm. I'm just a bit lost as to why you even think they'd put 2 characters into ultimate, to then remove them in DOA6. It doesn't really make sense.

Also regardless of what I think about Momiji or Rachel. I don't believe in removing characters. That's my opinion on the matter.

Oh well should of asked that sooner my thought process in that is Story mode never even got touched. Sure there's a lot more features but this game is more of a addition not an actual sequel. These additional characters were kinda just added. No story has been given to them. So if TN can't add them into the story I don't know if they will keep them.
