I'm currently working on doing a complete write up of changes for Tengu to make him work in 5U. I will post it when it's finished, and I hope that everyone will be tweeting it to TN nonstop.
For his PB, I didn't plan out what the normal attack looks like, but I mapped the input to 1P+K and I designed the cinematic animation for it;
He hits his foe with 1P, 66PP, 7K and as his foe is airborne, he leans back to charge up his wind storm move from 2U. Then pick your target and he unleashes the wind storm, sending his foe flying in the chosen direction.
Gotcha no problem, I'm going to tweet it constantly as well as if there is no tomorrow.
Ahhh. I'll keep shifting between this and the command training you posted up for Tengu. Wondering if they'll make any variations to it. Come on TN, Tengu has to make it's return.
I am incorporating a few new moves and strings and even removed some of his previous ones, because they were flat out stupid and useless. I did come up with an awesome idea for a new command SS though, based on the animation of one of the moves I cut.
For example, PP6PP (seen at 0:07 in my command training video) is pointless and I scrapped it, but I like the twirl animation for the 6P part. It gave me the idea of speeding the twirl's animation up and making him move to the side as he does it to avoid non-tracking attacks.
This new command SS is 8P+K/2P+K and transitions into several follow ups. There are even some new strings that lead into this SS.
Ahh gotcha. I like your idea. That would be an interesting cool concept. What would you have in mind after a twirl animation after the 6P twirl? perhaps a move for high crush? or perhaps also adding a grab similar to Pai when she does a special SS. Watching your video again, He's really unique.
His twirl SS would have a high crush, yes. One that tracks too because I would have it lead into 2H+K. He'd also have an OH from the twirl as well. I haven't thought of much else to give him from the twirl just yet, but he'd definitely have more options.
I doubt I'd give ceiling properties to the other two because I think one ceiling throw is enough considering they lead to an untechable stun, granting a launch.
Not to mention that 2F+P already does 68 damage without a ceiling and is i4.
I am still buffing the other two though, just not with ceiling buffs. 4F+P is getting buffed from 50 damage to 60 and changing the start up from i8 to i7.
41236F+P is getting a damage buff from 68 to 78. On par with Desert Falcon.
