Why? Idk, its like a combination of a MaxDrago attitude (nobody but me plays her!!!) and the idea that two different styles with different moves fighting each other look better.

Meh. I think Alpha gameplay looks cool but in the end there's not a lot happening. A lot of damage doesn't mean they did something amazing, it just means they did a juggle or got a throw on high counter.

Hmmm ... so what would you consider as "done amazing"? Some Bayman holds? I've no idea about how amazing Rachel looks, but Akira looks epic imo.

Eh, Rachel has a hard time looking amazing aside from looks only. "Done amazing" would be outplaying your opponent a couple times in a row. Keep doing things the opponent doesn't expect. Or do the complete opposite and just outguess your opponent. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVn5fmEdbHo

Oh, this is a very good point Akali. Even if I'm not very familiar with these series, but I've never seen someone hating against Jin from Tekken. Maybe it's the "badass-factor" Kasumi lacks of. If Hayabusa would be the poster dude for DOA as well, I'm sure there wouldn't be a "Death-to-Kasumi" club for example.
