Not sure if it's a remark since I do indeed play a few female characters with the obvious fact that my main and my 2 subs are males.

lol I'm confused. So instead of releasing a character/new character you would rather have bikinis that some are just a rehash in design than others? Wouldn't you rather have a new costume design instead of bikinis over and over again? and the paradise video is a complete waste with the hilarious thought that they charge you for it since they could of added data for a new character whether it's male or female.

This doesn't stop Tengu's possibility. We won't be getting any new characters until at least around the end of the year most likely, excluding Marie.

The gravure scenes were easy for them to release because they're just ported from DOA5+. They only had to make new ones for Momiji and Rachel.

Gotcha, by then I should be using him, Leon & Mila.

VF characters will probably not return but I will most likely pick & use the next guest character(s) if they are doing it again.

I'm irritated that we have four guest characters at all. Those slots could have been occupied by Tengu, Genra, and Raidou, along with a newcomer, or maybe just one guest.

I'm fine with Akira being in the game. It pays tribute to VF and how DOA was formed around it. I get that. The others were highly unnecessary though.

We started with three of them, which was overkill, then when TN re-released the game, I should have had my main back, but no. Jacky joined the cast for stupid reason.

Oh yeah I see what you mean. If Tengu was around he probably would of been my first pick since I always thought he was cool. The other 3 VF characters were probably because of popularity.

Like Forlon I would have preffered to see the places for the guests reserved to the characters lef out from DoA (first of all the bosses).

Anyway, like I said more times I admit that the strong alliance with VF (so aka not a simple crossover with Akira) was maybe the best thing that could happen to DoA for its return after the gap of 7 years.

True kronin. The one that had me mindblown though was that Tengu would of had a chance to appear yet again without the apperance of the new character Marie Rose. I would of liked someone original instead of a completely new character that turned out to be a lightweight. Tengu was requested way before she was even released so it isn't fair for Forlorn etc. They could of added both instead of her alone.

The series was able to gain the knowledge of the VF players and to make approach them to the DoA series (recognizing the value of what is a real little brother of the VF series), and in the end also to return on the Arcade after 13 years (not sure if this would have happened without the collaboration with AM2 and so the consequent support of Sega).

DestructionBomb, I think that you know that there are "rumors" of the possible addition of at least another character to the game. And in this case Marie Rose would make perfectly sense according to the logic used by TN: they don't release never something less popular without accompanying it with something more mainstreaming (that in DoA is always related with the female characters)...

So we have Mila and Rig; Akira + Jacky and Sarah + Pai, Ein + Leon and Momiji + Rachel, packs reserved to male and female and bikini DLCs... From this pov IMO make sense to think to Marie Rose and Tengu like new additions for DoA5U:A (with Marie Rose of course the first character to be released for giving a greater incentive to play the Arcade).

So I think that they could have already planned to add both of them (or if not just Tengu - but I hope that could be him also because is the one to make more sense - at least another character that very likely they already know will be less popular than Marie Rose).

I'm sure only of a thing: the fans missing Tengu are a bigger number compared to what thought the developers. But we don't know if enough big...

Convince them. We need more people making tweets and retweeting tweets. #Tengu2014.

I never completely realized what were the three phases of Empero Cow's plan for the return of Leon, but without doubt these included direct contact with Team Ninja (also through the understanding of the Japanese, the possibility for Emperor to travel, the means for making "concrete" things - see his recent DoA cups ).

That reminds me. When he was in JPN tournament with Wah, did anyone ask him about Tengu when he was over there? I was hoping after the tournament if the players had any questions involving Tengu. Unless they forgot to tell him that to ask TN about the word of Tengu.
