Yeah I think I've been playing against better people since I started. Less "scared" I guess, since I know my way around a bit. I still have a long way to go though. General things like how to deal with aggressive opponents, and more specific things like what are the best attacks to do after I do a teleport hold.

DOA is very mindgame based i know when i use Christie as example i use tons of unsafe strings cause its impossible to play her safe, but how i use her that scares my opponents. And the same with my other characters. Himself with Bass i out pressure Ayane and Kasumi Player lol
