I completed the full list of his existing moves, removed some useless ones, and added some new ones by myself. All the while tweaking stuff to make him viable. After that, I enlisted the help of others to flesh out some even more technical stuff.
It's not done yet, but it's getting there and we all feel that this new Tengu would be really, really good.
He'd also be one of the top contenders on Home, I think. I found a combo with him that would do 250-ish damage on Home and it's all guaranteed after landing a 2T.
Nice to see that the work it's just to a point so advanced, and I think has to be awesome to "see" theoretically alrady combo just through a list of moves and properties on paper
By the way even if he is a Boss, don't make him too much OP We want a viable Tengu far from DoA4, but at the same time not a DoA2U one: so I hope that this 250-ish combo is very situational XD
He's not OP. I've been trying very hard to make him really good, without overpowering him. And the Home combo is situational to an extent. There has to be a breakable object behind your foe after the 2T, and it has to be far enough away that the followup launcher doesn't make them splat with it.
