Yes, I must say, I felt a huge difference with how I played when I was done with the Tutorial. It really helps you with that, I believe. Even if I didn't know my character well, the fact I was taking it slowly while performing the strings made me at least have a somewhat solid idea of what I was doing and improved my gameplay.
