Because they are big events, supported by TN, watched by offline AND online warriors. Is the prospect really that improbable?

Well there you have it folks, I am automatically an online warrior because I thought there'd be a character announcement on a tournament stream even though I play and support offline when I can... and keep in mind today is Sunday, so he must be serious.

There have been many cases where a company has a new character or something major regarding mechanics on a major stream Ex: Ultra Street Fighter at Evo along with a patch to UMVC3(but we know how that turned out), and Decapre at another stream with Street Fighter. Its not online warrior logic its something everyone would have thought would be announced.

Not everyone. I didn't expect it to be announced. I figured it would be TFC related CONSIDERING everything that has been lately when coming to events. They ARE PROMOTING TFC after all.

Ok maybe not EVERYONE but a new character was probably what many of us expected. I'll be honest I wasn't expecting a new character but was expecting something regarding Phase-4. I mean TN still haven't gave us a release date...

Why the hell would they announce a release date for phase 4when they did nothing like it for marie rose? They announced road to tfc. If you expected a character announcement you cant read tea leaves very well. Especially when they said it was related to tfc

TN gave us at least a hint for Marie's release date (Spring) we still have nothing on Phase's release and plenty of people are excited for her. And on the front page I never saw "announcement related to TFC" it read "Major announcement regarding DOA5U after KI Finals"

Justhebest you aren't in the Facebook group I assume because it said it was tfc related. And awesmic im making this comment to tje people who are genuinely upset that a pot bonus was announced instead of a character

I was a bit upset too. On one hand I'm happy TN's hyping it up, but on the other hand I gotta worry about being called a pot monster just because I haven't gone to many tournies. That seems to be the case on FB now.

@SweetRevenge117 its good that there's a pot bonus.. but the only reason im a bit upset is because it's just a tease to me. Its like " Hey look nereus.. you see all this money you can get? Well guess what? You cant travel BIATCH! ". Lol, its good that they're doing this though, it might even get those who are from bigger communities to actually be motivated to learn DOA, instead of being ignorant about it.
