Point number 3, don't forget to have fun with the game. If you are enjoying it, no one has any say in how you should enjoy it.

Like it was previously mentioned, online and off are two different beasts all together. Online makes compromises for convenience. That's it.

@SweetRevenge117 I understand that doing essential things online are almost impossible to do and it is infuriating but there is some skill involved online(doesn't take a lot, but it takes some). I believe in the same principle of respect is earned but we receive way less than we should by some offline players. I'm just saying that there are some great players online as well and they do deserve some respect.

A lot of people are forgetting to have fun with this fucking game.

@His Reverence - You can't have fun with a bunch of randoms assuming they are pros at this game and disrespecting you as if they actually did something useful for themselves. All I gotta say is, I'm not taking this game online seriously anymore. If you play to make friends, great. If you play to brag about it online and talking that ish and claiming I upload fights to ruin your image...You are in a world of hurt.

@DestructionBomb then don't play online with randoms lol. Play with friends. No one is forcing anyone to play online. If you want the convenience of playing with friends all over the country/globe, you gotta settle for the bullshit.

@His Reverence - Impossible because I wander the lobbies to troll people. You should know that by now. Always troll.

lol well there you go. You're having your own fun with the game. You understand the compromises so you manage in your own way = trolling.

On the other hand, because someone chooses to support the game in their own way, plays for fun on the couch, tries to learn the game that way - that does not mean that they do not deserve any respect at all.

People who constantly talk smack are the ones who deserve no respect. Online or off. High level or low level.
It's a matter of decency.

All I know is. If you don't appreciate my trolling, I don't appreciate you (Whoever you are out there.) Don't respect me me and you will get no respect back. Cased closed.

All im saying is you cant compete online. Period. Reverence the point is there are people who take online seriously and act like they've earned more respect than offline players. Thats when I keep it real and say you havent done shit. If they want to be casuals and support online so be it. But if you only play online youre just a casual

Who takes it seriously online, though? lol

I don't disagree with you there. The point I'm trying to drive home is that, people who support the game in the own way deserve some respect, too.

I'm not talking about online randoms here lol

It's is just the loud elitist attitude from certain individuals. Respect for regular offline players, but for those that dismiss experienced DoA players just because they have to settle for online (not everyone is fortunate enough to live near a DoA local) then whatever makes x person feel superior inside. DoA online is inherently mediocre, but that doesn't mean the players skill level should be easily dismissed.
SweetRevenge117

Number 13 it should be dismissed when that person thinks he can beat someone offline but doesnt go prove it. And reverence I respect everyone. But when you make claims based on online its kinda annoying lol. But I see we're in agreement on key elements here.

Of course if obnoxious online gamer claims he is better then x player in an offline environment, but doesn't do jack to prove that then yeah he deserves little if any acknowledgement. Same for obnoxious offline gamer claiming he is better then x player in an offline environment, but doesn't prove it deserves the same treatment. Not everyone who regularly plays online fits that stereotype despite popular belief.

Didn't say you were rev. Lol. I meant people in general. I only beef with online warriors if they talk shit like they can beat someone. The difference here number is that the obnoxious offline gamer can go offline and back up his shit. The online gamer wants credit without earning it. But not everyone is like that ur right
