Reporting to Isabelle just resets their greeting and catchphrase. Say you change someone's catchphrase to "fuk bitchz get $" but change your mind, you can go Isabelle and do that and change it back.
Well. D: He'll eventually show up around the shops. I've never had that problem before and I bought this the day it came out. Idk if this will help you or not for the future-
Nothing triggers villagers to leave. A completely random villager every couple of days will decide they want to move. Sometimes when you want someone to move and they come up to tell you they're planning on it and you're like "k cya" and they're like "ok bitch now I'm staying"
Pffft fml. Why can't I ever get good-looking animals!? All my default ones (Pecan, Peggy, Marcie, Snake and Clay) aren't really interesting + Frita, Wart Jr. and Pietro are bland.
I've been lucky in this town for the most part. Deleting my last town was kind of hard because I had Lolly and Mitzi in it but the map was so bad and things were placed poorly. Over half of my villagers had 'normal' personalities so that was really boring.
My town is turning into a forest. So many trees and very less space (I don't even have an axe yet). Despite their appearance, my villagers are more diverse personality-wise like there is one animal representing one personality.
You need around 200 for one of the components of a perfect town rating. If it looks like you have a ton, you probably have enough. Too many and it negatively affects your town rating which is stupid imo. You need at least 75 flowers for it but that's easy just go to the island and pick them up during tours.
Lol Isabelle said that my villagers want to see more greenery yet my town always had a lot of trees in general that you can't see where you are going. >> as for the flowers, I think I always gain a new rose bush everyday.
I chopped up all the trees (it only grows bananas and mangoes) from the island after collecting them from the first tour.
That's a bad idea, you want those trees in the sand. Beetles spawn on them at night that you can sell for 8000-12000 bells each. The trees in the grass don't really matter unless you want to fill out your whole bug encyclopedia.
Find a diving tour (you have to talk to the girl behind the desk on the island) and pick up some coconuts/bananas then plant them on your island. Not too close together.
If anything, I picked up the fruits and planted them on my town. The mangoes on land while the bananas on the sand. Sadly, only 3 of the mango trees grown while all the banana trees grew well.
I also planted oranges when Isabelle awarded me with them. Clay gave me a persimmon and I planted them near my home.
A good night farming beetles on the island can get you all the way up to 480k bells. You can take 40 things from the island home through the basket and if you catch 40 12000 bell beetles, that's a looot of money. Very good for paying off home loans.
What's your town's original fruit? Mine was oranges. I was lucky to get a persimmon early on too, most people have to wait to buy them in the last T&T upgrade.
I farm by fishing up whale sharks and ocean sunfishes along with other rare fishes from the island (I catch about 4-5 of them each day). My pockets get full from selling them. xD
My native fruit are apples. I wanted peaches though. Or maybe cherries. I have yet to get a perfect fruit from any of my apple trees.
It takes me about 30~ minutes to fill up the basket with beetles. I like to keep one horned hercules beetle in my house for its expensiveness plus it looks pretty.
I believe everyone gets one perfect fruit when you start a village on a random tree. I took mine and grew it and now I have a bunch of perfect orange trees scattered around.
