I personally like Naruto better. But if you're using a Hulu trial or whatev, AoT would be better. Just because that only has 27 or so episodes. Naruto has round 650+ and still going.
If you end up watching Naruto sometime, I recommend JP audio with subtitles. Naruto is when they're kids, and Shippuden is when they're older. The very 1st episode is still one of the best imo.

But basically, if you don't watch from beginning you might not know who Orochimaru is, Or why Sasuke hates Itachi and why he wants revenge against his brother for killing his clan and why Sasuke left Konoha and went with Orochimaru.
