There are many reasons to like it.
1) It's loosely based on "Clash of the Titans", and later in the manga makes subtle allusions to the events of the movie which I won't spoil just yet.
2) There is no true main character. However, Levi is a fan favorite, especially among female fans.
3) Mikasa has trended the midriff fetish.

I only watched upto episode 13 so I don't know much about Levi but I do like him so far, Eren I like but I get mad when he always yells at Mikasa lol D:

Her build is unusual for this era of moe female stereotypes in anime. That's why she stands out physically for her midriff. Other than that, Sasha is the other fan-favorite, and may have inspired Hugo's story in Ultra SF4.
